Kensington pier table
This Kensington Console is of small dimensions and often used in pairs. The hand carved monopedia are a tribute to the carvers’ art: each carved from one piece of solid hardwood, then gilded with gold leaf, hand polished and hand waxed to give a mellow finish like the original. From saw cut cross-banding on the base to the concealed drawer in the frieze, the detail with all the flair and panache of the original has been faithfully copied.
