Unlike the usual reproductions of Louis XV chairs, Classic Chairs’ model is not reduced in scale or detail, but retains all the handsome proportions of the original. The unusual shape of the chair and the placing of the arms and the additional inner elbow arms give it great appeal. Cushions filled with a large proportion of down feathers recreate the quality of the 18th century example. Antique Louis XV chairs, particularly pairs, are quite rare and very expensive, so this rare model will please the most exacting of clients.
