Kensington console table
This Kensington Console is of larger dimensions. The hand carved monopedia are a tribute to the carvers’ art: each carved from one piece of solid hardwood, then gilded with gold leaf, hand polished and hand waxed to give a mellow finish like the original. From saw cut cross-banding on the base to the concealed drawers in the frieze, the detail with all the flair and panache of the original has been faithfully copied. It is particularly useful as a hall or serving table. Equally at home in the drawing room, it will always be admired.
