Library table

Inspired by an early Sheraton period (c1790) library table, this most useful, stylish and practical desk is hand made from carefully chosen solid rosewood with ebony stringing outlining the saw cut cross-banding and finely figured inlaid veneer panels. The kneehole arrangement of the drawers is quite rare in English tables of this period. It is well finished with dummy drawers on the sides and polished detail on the back so the desk can be used centrally in a room. The squared brass drawer handles are made especially for this desk.
