Thomas hope footstool
This little footstool is a microcosm of the English regency period, circa 1810. The sabre legs, moulded edge and detail of the legs combine to give the stool the quintessentially Regency look. Classic Chairs have copied the original stool very precisely to ensure the authentic look of the period. The Original Stool is from a design by Thomas Hope (1807) and can be attributed to the celebrated maker B. Harmer.
