ANTIQUE ITEM: Black slate in a Classical temple style, with a Roman battle scene in relief carving in the pediment entablature.
The clock face is flanked by pairs of reeded pillars with brass socles, on a stepped plinth.
Coppery coloured brass in the centre of the face, which has numerals on a cream band, (cracks).
It has ornate hands and a gilded bezel behind the glazed door.
French 8 day movement.
Fretted back door, pendulum also. Clock Doctor guarantee label, so a bit of service history as well.
