ANTIQUE ITEM: A clock set in a black slate Classical temple, with a flat topped pediment, faced by an inset copper relief of putti.
The clock face is flanked by pairs of brass reeded pillars, on a straight plinth.
The clock itself has a brass/gilded face, with Roman numerals on a black band, finished with ornate hands.
French 8 day movement.
Key inside the fretted back door, no pendulum. The slate is in need of a good clean and would come up beautifully.
