Lead crystal brandy snifters, cut with a star pattern, on fluted stems and also with sunburst cut bases.
Two of these classic glasses nestle in each original lined and segmented presentation box. (4)
Bohemian crystal is famous for its brilliance.
This brilliance is achieved precisely by the high amount of lead. Lead causes high refractive index in the glass which in turn increases the ability of the glass to separate light into all its colors.
It comes from the regions of Bohemia and Silesia, which are now parts of the Czech Republic.
