Louis XVI Rectangular Console with Urn
The original of this stunning console table was certainly of Palace quality.
The apron is fret-carved with an intricate foliate design, enclosed in a beaded frame. The turned tapering legs, carved with palm leaves, have very unusual capitals with scrolled corners. These are joined by curving stretchers, further decorated with a carved Classical urn.
As it is carved on all four sides, it can therefore be used as a central focal table.
The marble top is available in a various marbles or stone.
The console can be finished gilded or painted in your choice of colour.
