This arresting Provincial Chippendale chair has all the hallmarks of having been originally inspired by Thomas Chippendale’s pattern book. It was first published in 1754, entitled “The Gentleman and Cabinet-Maker’s Director” .
The Classic Chair Company has replicated every nuance of this very fine chair. Our expert carvers have faithfully reproduced the wonderful back splat exactly. With the typical yoke rails, carved “ears” as well as the intricately carved back splat, this is an outstanding chair.
We loved this chair so much, we used it as our logo.
The drop-in seat is both comfortable and easily re-upholstered when necessary.
