William Bradshaw side chair
A most unusual chair from the English Regency period, and a bit of a rarity to delight furniture historians.
The reeded back uprights have a sweeping strut just above the seat connecting them to the front, thus improving the strength of the chair enormously.
There is very little machining involved in making this chair: the vast majority is all handwork. It is understandable why this type is such a rarity today.
William Bradshaw side chair Model: CH-K. An elbow chair version is also available.
