This little stool really is an absolute microcosm of the English Regency period.
The original stool is a design of 1807 by Thomas Hope. Classic Chairs is fortunate in having the original in its collection of outstanding antiques. Therefore it has been able to copy it in all of the quintessentially Regency details.
The original is also pictured here, complete with its very eye-catching hand-worked tapestry covering.

This little stool really is an absolute microcosm of the English Regency period.
The original stool is a design of 1807 by Thomas Hope. Classic Chairs is fortunate in having the original in its collection of outstanding antiques. As a consequence it has been able to copy it exactly, not only in its correct proportions and method of construction, but also including all of its lovely Regency details. For example, the curving sabre legs have ebonised inset centres.
