The Gillows Chamber Table

The Gillows Chamber Table has many possible uses: for instance as a desk or dressing table.
It has 2 drawers plus it is similarly detailed on both sides. This means it can be used as a central table.
Inspiration for this table came from a sketch from “Gillows General Sketchbook” (344/14 pp11).
Historical note: Gillows of Lancaster was a famous firm established c.1728, and later in London. They were the only makers to impress their makers mark consistently. Their extensive archives are held by the Westminster City Libraries in London.
