This is a wonderful accent piece, with an enormous attention to detail.
These include the intricate fretwork around the top which is echoed on the base with matching leg brackets underneath. Also the various mouldings to the drawers and cupboards, and to the base. And then the lovely hand painted scenes of traditional Chinese motifs on the front, and these are even painted on the sides as well.
The final touches are the gold patterning and lines which accentuate the solid brass handles and escutcheons.
A very decorative and useful cabinet, and not too large for most positions.
