This stunning urn is both a great focal point and versatile as well.
The deeply moulded detail is extensive: from the fluted stepped base, extending to the waist, to the upper banding of scrolled and stylised foliage, roses and curliques.
The 2 projecting handles are represented by horned leprechaun-like faces reminiscent of Medieval Church carvings.
The lid is similarly detailed with acanthus and palm leaves, with a deeply moulded top knot.
The model is hand painted in a pale grey carrara marble effect, with a soft sheen finish.
