A beautifully detailed hand carved wooden model of the three remaining columns from the ruins of the Temple of Castor and Pollux in the Roman Forum.
The Castor and Pollux carved architectural model is hand painted in a pale stone colour, or in a polished wood finish (see Gallery)
historical note: Castor and Pollux were the half-twin sons of the Greek Gods Zeus and of Tyandareus the king of Sparta, and had the same mother, the Goddess Leda. They are the “twins” of the zodiac sign of Gemini.
