A small and useful side table, with a very striking top of Santos Rosewood.
Not only is the veneer itself striking, but it is also quartered on the top creating a wonderful starburst pattern.
Santos comes from South America and is one of the world’s most loved and prized veneers. It ranges in colour from chocolate-brown to purple-black with a cream colored sapwood — all very saturated with a vivid contrast. It has a lively variegated stripe and occasional bee’s wing figure.
Finish: high-gloss piano polish.
