A JAPANESE blue and white EWER JUG
An attractively shaped jug with moulded indentations and shaping to the handles and rim. It is decorated with blue and white underglaze transfers of flower sprigs, and landscape scenes, with the added sophistication of the decoration continuing down inside the jug from the lip.
It may well have been made for the Japanese export market to Europe.
