Based on a table originally designed to hold a terrestrial globe, this much admired occasional table is made in several versions. With a solid wooden top. Or with glass or marble. A further variation of ebonised and parcel gilt decoration is available. For stability the table has four legs instead of the more usual three, and the workmanship and quality is evident throughout. The elegant and sturdy turned central column and the curved ribs combine to give this table a light and buoyant look, hard to find in an occasional or lamp table.
